If you know how to write a message, you can build a rule. Everything from the app on your Android — no server, no website, no required account. Match the pattern and reply with the template you chose.
Keywords
"hours", "price", "address" — when the customer types one, Yammbo Bot answers with the template you taught it. Exact, partial or similarity matches. Case-insensitive.
Regular expressions
Detect order numbers, dates, IDs, emails, phones. Capture groups and reuse them in the answer. Standard Java/JavaScript syntax — the one you already know.

How does it install? Is it on the Play Store? +
Yammbot WA ships as a direct APK from our site (not the Play Store). Download the file, enable installs from unknown sources on Android, install. The first time it asks for notification access — that single permission is all it needs to read incoming messages and reply through the official WhatsApp app.
Will my WhatsApp get banned? +
No. Yammbot WA does not use any unofficial API and does not scrape. It reads Android's notification system (with explicit permission) and replies through the official WhatsApp app — exactly what you would do by hand, only automated. WhatsApp's terms target circumvention of their app; this approach goes through it instead of around it.
Which AI providers can I use? +
Gemini and ChatGPT as native providers (you bring the API key). Plus Custom AI with 8 options — Groq, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Mistral, xAI Grok, Together, Anthropic Claude (compat) or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. AI calls go from your phone directly to the provider — Yammbo never sees the content. Some providers offer free tiers (Groq Llama 3.3 70B, OpenRouter Llama 3.3).
Does it work with WA Business and the mods? +
Yes. WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business and the 5 most-used mods — GBWhatsApp, OGWhatsApp, Aero, AeroLla and YOWhatsApp. On Business you can use labels as triggers, e.g. a rule that fires only for contacts tagged "VIP".
Do I need a server or a computer running? +
No. Yammbot WA lives 100% on your Android. No server, no cloud, no account required for the free tier. If your phone is on, the bot is on. For high traffic we recommend a dedicated Android always plugged in.
How is my data handled? +
Messages never go through our servers — they stay on your phone. The only exception is when a rule uses AI: that single message goes to the provider you chose (Gemini, OpenAI, Groq, etc.) under that provider's terms. You decide. We never upload your rules, templates or message history.
What about Instagram, Messenger, Telegram? +
Q3 2026: Yammbot IG and Messenger. Q4 2026: Telegram. Q1 2027: Signal and Viber. When they launch the same architecture applies — local on Android, no servers, your data on your phone.
Can two phones share rules? +
Yes — backup and import. Export rules, contacts, templates and AI configurations as CSV; import on a second phone in one tap. Useful for handing off a customer-service phone to a teammate, or migrating from an old device.
